Peace! There is a clamor for an MER III cruise this year. The least expensive one I found is the one sailing from Galveston for the Carribean, the same trip we had for the MER cruise in 2007. The Boat Ecstasy leaves port at 4 pm on Monday, Dec 7 and dock at the port of Galveston on Saturday at 8 am, Dec 12. The ship visits Progreso for a day and Cozumel for another day. The talks are given while the ship is sailing, so there is nothing missed in relation to the different events occuring in the boat or the excursion in the shores. I have reserved 30 cabins in all. The rate per person is 397.92 including all taxes and service charge(tips). The quoted fare is good only up to February 25 and an initial deposit of 200/pers on should be in before that time. By the way we are going to look for speakers who are willing to pay their own fares so as not to increase the cost of the MER.
